The journey to entrepreneurship
While in Asia, Vijay Eswaran started the first company in 1998. This direct network selling company, QNET, grew to become one of the market leaders in the Middle East, Africa, and South East Asia. The network has, for 20 years, trained and empowered over one million entrepreneurs in the ever-changing tough markets. The network marketing idea that he conceived while in college is now the bedrock of QI Group. Going into network marketing, Vijay Eswaran was skeptical about it but fell in love after several classes of learning about it. He then used his economics knowledge and blend them together as a way of coming up with a solution that would solve economic problems such as unemployment. Creating entrepreneurs has always been his passion as is even more important now when Artificial Intelligence is replacing the human capital.
A day in the life of Vijay Eswaran could be getting up in London or Kuala Lumpur experiencing different weather with different people talking in a different language. To keep being productive, Vijay starts the day by being informed on the progress of the company through a phone call. He also practices a quiet time of meditation and contemplation. He focuses on important things that make a difference in his life as opposed to urgent things.
